emedia guitar basics review

  The Emedia Guitar Basics guitar lesson software has 40 lessons. Emedia has a pretty cool animated fret board for easy to read chords. There is an electronic chord dictionary and an electronic metronome. The guitar lessons songs never really connect with you. The songs are to folk music like and lack much variety. The guitar lessons would connect more with the student if there was a nice mix of classic to contemporary. There are gaps in the teachings and you may find your self needing to supplement your guitar lessons. The lesson play along chord changes seems to be a bit too complicated for a beginning guitar player. We feel these could have been structured better with a little simpler chord changes thrown in. Emdeia Guitar Basics is available for pc and mac alike. We have heard of some problems with mac loading but cannot confirm this.

  This guitar lesson package had some ok features but over all this was somewhat of a disappointment. There where holes in the teachings. The video arrangement is somewhat lacking. The system was clumsy and hard to navigate. We would not recommend this product.
